Imagine walking into a hospital ward where every nurse is in constant motion, monitoring patients, checking vital signs, responding to alarms – all within an effective workflow where adverse outcomes are greatly mitigated. Unfortunately, in the current setting, despite their dedication, nurses are hindered by technological constraints, making their jobs more challenging than it should be today. What if there was a way to make their work more purposeful, with data that is instantly accessible
empowering them to act proactively rather than reactively? This project explores this possibility, with smartQare’s innovative platform at the center of it all. By integrating continuous monitoring through their cutting-edge viQtor device, this project focuses on creating a seamless user interface that meets the needs of nurses in the general ward environment. Join us as we explore how this new system could transform patient care, all while keeping the human psychological framework at its core.

Individual patient
Single patient - Reading interpretation 🔗 subconscious mind
At 16:40 viQtor wasn't worn correctly - Fenna resolved this
Example when vitals exceed threshold + pieper notification
Trendgraphs - Blocks move according to mouse *hover

Search discharged patients
Example search: Last name + Patient ID
Example - Planned re-admission for 'Dekker, J.P'
Example Unit 5
Original view - Everything Ok
viQtor of room 60-2 is charging + No viQtor active in room 59
viQtor in room 60-2 isn't worn correctly + Room 59 shows accurate vitals of 31 min. ago
Example when vitals aren't up-to-date >5 min., they will turn grey
When vitals exceed threshold for < 15 min., example room 60-3
When vitals exceed threshold for >15 min., example room 60-3 (+ pieper notification)
Imke confirmed pieper notification and walks to room 60-3
Room 60-2 vitals exceed threshold <15 min. + Femke in Room 59 for some time
Fall detected in room 58 - Size and Contrast pop-out -> Immediate response necessary
Fall detection confirmed - In this instance imke walks to room 58
Room 60-1 shows vitals of 31 min. ago + Room 58 shows threshold exceedance in the past
Example Unit 4, Unit 5, Unit 6
One department categorized in three units + Assigned nurses active at the top, Original view - Everything Ok
