EXPLORATORY SKETCHING
About the course
In addition to my own experience and passion for sketching, I opted to pursue the ID-elective ‘Exploratory Sketching’ to enhance my design sketching skills at an advanced level. Through this elective, I’ve delved into guided online workshops led by Martijn van de Wiel, focusing on communicating ideas and concepts effectively. Exploring objects from different perspectives,
experimenting with thick colored designer markers, and grasping concepts like foreshortening and convergence have significantly reinforced my sketching expertise. Modules covered in this course include: Setting the Mind, Field Trip, Linear Products, Cylindrical Products, Combined Products, Setting the Scene, Complex Geometry & Redesign.
